Our Year in Summary
It has been quite an Incredible year for us here at 3FEV and we are grateful for the opportunity to look back and celebrate the good bits we may have overlooked in our excitement of the year ahead. We couldn’t be prouder of the great partnerships we have forged and the initiatives we have created this year – what a long way we have come since we started in November 2014!
From Members Club to Car Share to Peer 2 Peer
Last year we created what was UK’s first Tesla car share scheme with the launch of phase one which was our members club. The Members club was an opportunity to offer an on demand time-sharing rental service for private and company use.
This year we tripled the number of our club members and saw our car share platform take off as well.
This year has been an encouraging one for us as far as awards go.
We came in a close second for the following awards :
- Gatwick Diamond New Business of the year
- Gatwick Diamond Green Business of the year
- Toast of Surrey awards : New Business of the year
Winner of the Wealth and Finance awards for Sustainability driven car rental company of the year.
We are excited about 2018 and with the projects we have planned who knows what’s next in the Awards and recognition arena?
On the 25th of April we attended the 2017 e-mobility conference in London where we were one of the lead sponsors. The Event was hosted by Robert Llewellyn and organised by our partner Global EVRT. Our very own Funmi Onamusi was a panellist on one of the sessions. The speakers and contributors were drawn from a wide range of sectors and countries. We had input from celebrities, regulators, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, engineers, motorsport professionals and academics.
As a result of her involvement, Funmi has been invited to be a speaker at the Nordic EV Summit in January 2018 where she will be speaking about Mobility as a Service.
For any company it can be difficult to find the right people to collaborate with. We have had a good run at meeting great people who have brought remarkable value to us.
We have grown from one hub in Reigate, Surrey and added three more hubs this year.
The hub managers are all passionate EV enthusiasts who want to get more people to experience the benefits of EV’s in regions that until now had now had no local providers. One of our hub partners produced a lovely youtube video announcing the Midlands hub here.
We have had Marsha Mac join us this year as our Business Development Manager.
She comes to us from a leading private Jet charter company and with a great deal of experience in Influencer Marketing and Logistics. She is already adding value to the development of the company.
We can only do what we do because we have the cars to do so. Every 3FEV car is considered a team member and we have seen our fleet size Quadruple from when we started.
With these cars we have had over 300 customers driving over 200,000 electric miles and visiting 7 countries.
We would like to thank our partner companies. They are very able hands (and minds) helping us produce the remarkable Emobility service that we are extremely proud of today. Keystone Media, Solisco, WATB, BlueFlamingo, JamesandKate, Teslarentals and Tesla Gatwick !
Cheers to 2018 – Drive Electric!
The journey to Sustainable transportation has taken one giant leap this year and we are glad to have been a part of it. Next year will bring more questions around EVs, Infrastructure, Education, and our favourite, Mobility as a Service and its impact on the shared economy... We look forward to being at the fore front of those discussions in 2018 as we explore the projects, plans and partnerships ahead of us!
For now, we would like to wish all of our friends, business partners, customers and suppliers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
